So we’ve been cooped up in the studio the last few nights and it’s been amazing. The studio is such a great place. I’ve always felt safe there.  No matter what studio I’m in, I always feel like I’m in a cave. Tucked away from all the BS in the world.  The studio is my place to dream, imagine, think outside the box, a place to create. I find it peaceful. It’s always fun being in a studio w. my loves Bek & Dest because we feed off of each other. We inspire each other so much that we never know what is gonna come out of the experience. Seriously, we tap into a whole other thing when we do it together!

We’ve been writing some songs straight from our heart lately.  We decided we’re not gonna hold back one bit. We want you to get to know us in a real way and won’t settle for anything less than real talk on our records. With all that being said… I can’t wait for you to hear our new music! Thank you for being so patient with us and most of all, supporting “Bombshell” ! We’ll be releasing new music soon!

Hey yous guys,

So i’m not sure if you watched it but there was this special on VH1 about the MTV show TRL (Total Request Live) that aired the other night. The TRL Decade , 1998-2008. I guess you can say that TRL filled my life with great joy… No, really. So in honor of the show, I wound up calling some friends over to watch it and it turned into this 90′s party. HA! We all decided to get dressed like it was 1999. Us girls represented w. denim jackets, bright neon colored tube tops and name plates while the guys rocked there denim jackets, plaid shirts and oversized jeans. For all of us, watching TRL was a HUGE part of our lives. It sounds funny but it’s true. While watching it, I kept thinking about all those sweet memories of coming home from school and running to the t.v. to switch to ch. 53 to watch Carson Daly countdown the top 10 music videos that all the kids, like me, voted on that day. The show was packed with all artists like Mariah, JLO, Eminem, *NSYNC, Ashanti, Puff Daddy, Britney, Blink 182, Destiny’s Child, BSB, Korn, Avril, Ciara the list goes on… That exciting feeling I’d get seeing my favorite artists come on the show to talk to the fans, host contests and get interviewed.  To think we got all our entertainment news from John Norris/Suchan Pak on MTV News… This was before all the gossip sites, blog sites, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr. Like, really? It brought kids together because everyone watched this show at the exact same time, every day just like me.

I mean, its been our dream to go on TRL.Seriously, that show was perfect in every way. Why can’t MTV bring it back? Kids these days I feel should have that same experience of seeing their favorite artist/actresses chill with their fans, have fun watching a countdown of their favorite artists music videos that they voted for… Lets bring the art of LIVE tv back. As a joke Jess said it best, “Let’s bring back TRL. Just  change the name & call it TML (thank me later).” ha It should happen, don’t you agree?

We ended the night at the 50th anniversary party for Ernie Ball where we kicked it with our friends and saw the legendary Steve Vai shred! Man, we couldn’t believe our ears. NAMM was incredible.

so guys… today. was. AWESOME. Jess, Bek, a few other friends & I had the privilege of being able to run around the studios at Paramount in Los Angeles. for those of you who don’t really know, Paramount is one of the most famous television and motion pictures names ever. television shows like ‘I Love Lucy’, ‘The Brady Bunch’, to tv shows from today like ‘Glee’, ‘CSI’, and one of my favorite new shows, ‘Happy Endings’ have been and are being filmed there. don’t even get me started on all the movies… ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’, ‘My Fair Lady’, ‘Titanic’, Catch Me If You Can’… WHAT?! to think legendary actors like Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, and Lucille Ball walked those streets almost every day at one point and actually filmed on one of those lots was a pretty awesome feeling. it was amazing not just for me but for all of us. I’m so excited to share with you some photos I took… \m/

Me + my sisters have been pinching ourselves lately. We can’t believe we’re livin in la land. it’s such a fun place to live when you’re in your 20′s especially when you’re doing it with your sisters who are your best friends.

wW talk about it non-stop.  Ya know, how much fun we’re having and the memories we’re making! We recently decided that to best remember this time in our life, we should make a scrapbook. Tumblr is perfect for this! we’ve been taking pictures & posting them so we’ll always have something to look back on to remember right now.  Remember the ups & downs of chasing our dream + our crazy nights in hollywood + the cool kids we’ve met +  the feeling of growing up….

If the saying is true… “a picture paints a thousand words” then I guess 50 paints 50,000? ha ha. At the rate we’re going, we’ll have stories to tell for the rest of our lives!  It’s safe to say I’m addicted…

It’s my sister Jess’s Birthday today! She’s more than just a sister to me, but a best friend.

Can’t help but reflect & think of all the incredible memories we’ve shared together. I know there’s a lot more to come.

So today, what better place to celebrate than in NYC. Off to a fancy schmancy dinner & a broadway show. Tootles…

One year over. A new one beginning. I love it. Everyone makes all these crazy resolutions, but for me it’s the same one every year… to live life to the absolute fullest. Ya know, squeeze the most out of life. There’s so much life to live + So many people to meet +  Love to give + New places to go + So much to learn &  new ways to grow. I didn’t mean to make that rhyme-ish, I swear. ha ha.

Anyway, Saturday night was one of the most memorable new years I’ve ever had. Since I currently live in LA, being home in New York for a new years eve celebration was just everrrythiiinng.  I spend it with my mom & dad + my two sisters + a cute boy + bieber + his team… my friends.  NYC was so alive that night! My sisters and I def. overdosed on candy & cupcakes. ha ha. My favorite part of the night was looking out over all of Manhattan to see the prettiest fireworks light up the sky while dancing the night away.  I also loved throwing on every party hat/tiara, oversized pair of sunglasses & obnoxious looking necklaces laying around. The night was perfection.

I can’t wait to see what’s ahead in the new year! My sisters & I have a lot of awesome stuff in the works for Petrel and we can’t wait to share them with all of you! I believe in constantly expecting good things + be in a positive state of mind so you can achieve anything & everything. so what do you say? Let’s start 2012 off & BELIEVE! *throws fist in air*
